Recovery happens through small, repeated, ordinary things. A shared breakfast. A finished painting. A successful trip to the GP. Our weekly programme is built around that idea.
Every property runs to a weekly programme shaped by our Activities Coordinator Natasha and informed by Psychology and Nutrition. Residents choose what they want to join.
Shared, unhurried breakfasts that anchor the day. For many residents, sitting down to eat with other people is itself part of the recovery.
Cheese scones, gingerbread, cakes for birthdays, and even doggie cakes for Buddy. Cooking together is one of the simplest ways we rebuild confidence and skills for independent living.
A creative space where residents work on personal projects and seasonal artwork at their own pace. Finishing a piece is its own kind of healing.
Sessions led by our in house Nutritionist Abenaya on building healthy meals, understanding how food affects mood, and learning to cook for yourself.
Quieter group activities for residents who find evenings difficult. Connection without pressure.
Peer led sessions designed and facilitated by residents themselves, from CV writing to recreation. Voice and choice built into the weekly programme.
A good placement is one a resident is ready to leave. Every part of the service is built toward that goal.
Every resident has their own ensuite bedroom and a kitchenette in the room. Shared kitchen and lounge to be social when they choose. Rosewood House in Hounslow is our move on property, with built in kitchens in self contained flats.
Budgeting, CV writing, travel training, benefits, employment routes, cooking, and nutrition.
High to medium to low to floating support. The next conversation, where possible, is always about stepping down. The keyworker stays the same as the level changes.
We are investing in a Diverse Services independent living service. Self contained flats for residents ready to leave supported living, with our team still in the background as a safety net.
